From the reviews
Went in to see if my vertigo could be relieved.....during the interview process, I spoke of lack of energy and lump in my abdomen after eating and a few hours after....left feeling relaxed and the lump was gone. Vertigo got better in days ahead.
I am an experienced acupuncture patient and have successfully used this drug free treatment since 2019 for my severe spine pain pain and leg spasms. I live part of the year in another state and needed an acupuncturist in this area.
I am new to the area and was looking for an acupuncturist to treat my neuropathy and spine issues. Alex was warm and welcoming right out of the gate, but what really stands out to me is her thoughtfulness.
Alex was great , very knowledgeable in her field , professional environment with a great view of Plymouth harbor . Just started the first of a six treatment plan and feeling less pain already.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
