From the reviews
I initially chose Wasatch Peaks Physical Therapy in Roy simply because it was close to my home, but what I found there was so much more than convenience — I found an incredible team of caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind people.
I had rotator cuff and bicep tendon surgery on both arms in the last 6 months. I did physical therapy with Joel at Wasatch Peaks in Roy for both surgeries. They have a wonderful staff there that is dedicated to your full recovery. Joel was incredible to work with.
I had an amazing experience at Wasatch Peak Physical Therapy, especially working with Joel. I came in with a torn MCL and a torn meniscus in my right knee, and from day one Joel was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly supportive.
Randy and Tempe were so fun to work with! I was able to learn stretches that really helped with my particular issue. They were great at checking in with me. I also really loved the extended hours they have. I was able to go before work so that I didnt have to take any time off, which was so helpful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
