From the reviews

I have a lot to say about Sonia…all positive. I’ve been seeing massage therapists for over 20 years now. It’s been my form of self-care and maintenance through the years. I used to live around the world for business and everywhere I lived, I found a massage therapist that I could go visit on a regular basis.

I have been a client of Walker's Touch for at least a year. I go for lymphatic massage primarily, with other modalities utilized as needed for my health. My sessions have been with Deborah. I can't sing her praises enough.

The MT's here are incredibly knowledgeable. I've been to a number of massage places since I started experiencing chronic pain. Many of them are good or okay, but Deborah from Walkers is by far my favorite massage therapist. I've also seen a couple other therapists here and everyone seems great

First and foremost, the service at Walker’s Touch is AMAZING which is why I gave a 5 start rating. I’ve been a client of Sonia for 4 years and since day one her service has and still is impeccable, professional, friendly and accommodating.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
