From the reviews

Justin has a refreshing approach to whole-body wellness. The various modalities (stretching, deep tissue work, cupping, etc.) he uses definitely help me work through injuries and tightness. Strongly recommend Vital Body if you want to get your body into a better form for athletics or just feel better overall.

Best massage therapist around the area. Extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of the body and the needs of any individual. My dad went to him with shoulder and neck pain. Had little to no ROM in both and Justin fixed him after 3-4 sessions.

I have been seeing Justin at Vital Body for about a month now and I wish I knew about this place sooner. I am in an accelerated nursing program and I keep all my tension in my upper back and Justin completely alleviated that. He is super professional, kind and really takes interest in knowing your problem areas.

I’ve seen Justin several times now for sports bodywork. Justin hits all the spots you’re concerned about and also finds other trigger points you didn’t know you had. He gets in there and manipulates your muscles thoroughly. It’s fantastic. It’s intense. Justin is friendly and caring, always monitoring your comfort.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
