I have been dreaming of a really good hard full body massage for the past 3 years. This was an excellent choice for me. I don't care for the frou frou as far as ambience is concerned. I just want to feel good kneading on my muscles and be relieved of the discomfort.
A friend took me to this place a few years ago and since then it’s the only place I go now to get my massages. I’ve gotten the best massages I’ve ever gotten here, they are all really skilled but I particularly like going to Daniel. I enjoy the free hot stones every time during the massage.
Great legit place to have someone work out the knots. Hard massage will leave you sore the next day so go medium or light if you are concerned. Good technique with stretching and forearm and elbow pressure where needed. The extra $10 for the oil seemed like a big help, as it is like tiger balm in that it brings heat.
I have had massages here a few times. Each time the staff has been so nice and professional. Daniel is fantastic. He gives a great massage, checks his pressure with you and overall professional. I highly recommend their services. The facility and rooms are always clean, its very quaint. Parking is easy and plentiful.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
