From the reviews

Long-Term COVID patients read this: Rebeca’s Acupuncture and techniques has been an absolute game-changer for me, especially when it came to treating my long-term COVID symptoms of brain fog, fatigue, emptiness, inflammation and depression.

★★★★★ — Koda, May 2023

This is my first time trying acupuncture and I didn’t know what to expect, but my experience with Rebeca had been amazing. I started seeing her for debilitating menstrual pain after childbirth and after about a month of weeks visit I have not had ANY extreme pain like before.

★★★★★ — Lindsay, May 2022

I’m so grateful to have found Rebeca’s practice at Vida Acupuncture. I’ve been working with her for just under a year, though I’ve tapped into acupuncture periodically for over 15 years. Rebeca’s approach is truly exceptional.

★★★★★ — Jen, Dec 2024

Rebeca is so much more than an acupuncturist—she’s an exceptional listener, a clear communicator, and a calming, spiritual presence who immediately put me at ease. I had been wanting to try acupuncture for a while as I was struggling with infertility, and from my very first session I knew I was in the right place.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
