Why Vibrant Health Medical Massage Therapy is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “to relief and rest. When you come to my office you will find no packages that will bring upgrades to the service I offer. What you will get is the best I have to offer. • Payment reportedly accepts insurance — verify coverage before your visit, since cupping is often billed under manual therapy or acupuncture

From the reviews

Tanya is one of the reasons I've been able to get through this year. She has been someone I've looked forward to driving 3 hours for. She not only listens and genuinely cares, she puts forth effort to make you feel important. Definitely recommend her as a skilled and thoughtful therapist.

Tanya is amazing! Extremely compassionate, very tuned into what I needed based on my pain, each time I've seen her has been incredibly relaxing and immediately helped reduce my pain levels, and increase my daily functioning.

★★★★★ — Noah, Jan 2023

Tanya is excellent!! I have been paralyzed on my right side since I was 16 (64 now) Needless to say I'm a very lopsided person, extra strong on one side and completely weak on the other. I was so completely twisted and tight by the time I saw her I could barely walk.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
