From the reviews

Hannah Swanson’s somatic session and guided body scan were absolutely wonderful. Her calm presence made it so easy to relax and truly reconnect with myself. She guided the session with such gentleness and warmth that I felt completely at ease from beginning to end.

I have the Very Well KC monthly unlimited yoga/class package and it has been the greatest thing I have done for myself! The community is extremely welcoming to newcomers; I have made so many friends already. Also, the value for the class variety is incredible.

I got my massage from Wenny and it was amazing. She really focused on the parts of my body that really needed help. The salon itself is beautiful and perfect they offer a lot there and everyone is so friendly plus they have a cute shop for after you are done with your services :)

I came to the acupuncture group session. I didn't know what to expect and I was a little nervous. The acupuncture wasn't painful and was actually very comforting once she placed it. I left feeling relaxed and reset. It was a very positive experience.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
