From the reviews
Words do not describe how grateful I am to have found Dr. Aaron. As an incredibly active individual, I have had many broken bones and have struggled to find someone who knows how to get someone back on their board at 100%. After two months of not being able to walk with a misdiagnosed ankle injury, one visit with Dr.
I can’t thank Dr Aaron and the Vanderhoof team enough for helping me through a tough bout of acute back pain. Over just five sessions, I experienced significant relief and improvement. Scheduling was effortless, and I really appreciated the flexibility of his late office hours.
Dr. Aaron is one of the best chiros out there without question! He was very patient in listening to all of my complaints and wanted to understand thoroughly what I was experiencing. He did some soft tissue work on me that was painful but did so much to help my shoulder.
Alex is perhaps the best massage therapist I have ever had. He intuitively knows what muscle to work on and has helped me heal from old injuries that had never been attended to. This is not a spa massage, but rather true massage therapy - it is not relaxing, and sometimes painful, but you will definitely get results.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
