From the reviews

I had a complicated pregnancy with LOTS of body problems. At points I my feet swole up so big I could hardly walk. Lauren is a pregnant body and post partum body miracle worker. I'm very picky about massage- I don't like a lot of it.

★★★★★ — Joey, Aug 2021

Wow! This was maybe the best massage I’ve ever had. It’s clear that Lauren has a strong knowledge is the muscle groups and how to work them to provide relief. I was experiencing a lot of neck pain and I feel this session has melted away a great deal of that. Well with the money! Thank you!

★★★★★ — Chelsea, Aug 2021

I've been seeing Lauren since near the start of my pregnancy, and plan to continue up to birth and beyond! She's very skilled and I always feel great after my sessions.

★★★★★ — Jasmine, Jan 2023

Lauren is a very skilled massage therapist who clearly takes a lot of care and pride in her work. I have seen her several times and always walk away feeling better for the longterm. She listens to needs and is also very intuitive.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
