I came to Uptown Wellness Center with chronic tendon pain that just wouldn’t go away. After trying other treatments with little success, Dr. Arno recommended Shockwave Therapy. I can honestly say the results have been incredible.
The staff was very kind and welcoming. My visit with the Doctor was great, he was very personable and made me feel comfortable, he explained everything he would be doing as he was preparing to adjust me and only after I was prepared would he continue. I felt very comfortable and well informed.
Dr Arno and his staff really go out of their way to serve their patients. Dr Arno is available to answer patients questions and he is always willing to discuss symptoms with them and to make adjustments to the treatment as necessary.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
