To the woman who had a painful experience. Tui Na may not be for everyone just as Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Rolfing, etc, is not for everyone. Tui Na may seem painful at first, but it's rejuvenating. If you tell them to go easy, they will, (but of course you wouldn't get all the benefits).
Excellent. Location is clean with soothing ambiance yet no frills. While it’s true what other reviews have stated regarding that their English is a little challenging (esp over the phone) and Jenny will answer the phone in the middle of a massage (it only rang once in the hour), it doesn’t detract from the phenomenal…
I visited Tuina in the past 2 years, May and Jenny provided professional service and effective communication, they are proficient in neural networks, and used a unique massage way to restore painful nerves, such as deep press and meridian dredging solved my back and head pain.
Great DEEP tissue massage. If you are used to deep tissues massages from those massage chains, this will be different. It is very intense, and painful sometimes (a good pain), but the woman worked out all of my huge knots in my shoulder and neck. Amazing price for such a deep massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
