From the reviews
The staff are awesome! I like working with David especially because he was the first person that I ever worked with when I joined Tucson sports recovery. Now I'm able to not only meet new people and recover, but I'm also able to feel rejuvenated every time I leave recovery.
Talked to Steven. The guy actually knows his stuff and is easy to talk to. He answered every question I had and walked me through the whole process so I wasn't flying blind. If you're looking for a recovery spot, give them a try.
I would highly recommend Dr. Erin Brunelle if you need dry needling. She was very helpful at troubleshooting the cause of my pain and skillful at isolating the location to treat.
Injured my back recently but thankfully didn’t require surgery. Instead I was recommended to TSR and I couldn’t be happier. Michelle is an excellent masseuse, I’m going back to her for a second time tomorrow and already scheduled again for next month.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
