From the reviews

The atmosphere of this establishment is beautiful and calming. I immediately felt relaxed just walking inside. The affordability of this service is so generous and helpful for people like me who could not otherwise afford acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Alyssa, Aug 2022

Wonderful place, effective treatment. The acupuncture is performed in a quiet room with very comfortable lazy chairs surrounded by other clients dosing after having needles placed. Very relaxing (I fell asleep for couple of hours). I was suffering from sciatica and chronic tendonitis.

★★★★★ — Sue, Aug 2018

This is one of my favorite places in Tucson. Incredibly calming, relaxing, affirming atmosphere. I feel so at ease, I always drift off into a peaceful nap during my acupuncture treatment. The best part is that they require high-quality masks to protect patients and staff.

★★★★★ — Kate, Jun 2023

I never thought I would find myself at an acupuncture place until I threw my back out. After days of pain and not being able to walk well, I called a friend who has had back issues. He told me the only thing he found that gave him relief was acupuncture.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
