From the reviews

My husband has been going here for several years and when I recently took a pretty nasty fall ( down some stairs) he convinced me to go see Dr Shaft. Believe me when I tell you I am so glad he did. I felt a difference after the first treatment and continue to now on my third.

Although I’ve only been seeing Dr. Shaft for a few weeks now, I already feel significantly better! I was referred by a friend and could not be happier with my results so far! Dr. shaft has also been seeing my baby and we can see great improvement with my baby as well just from a few visits!

I had lower back issues and pain for years, that ibuprofen could only slightly help relieve. I finally had enough and decided to try seeing a chiropractor. I’ve been going to see Dr. Shaft and the incredible team at True Care Chiropractic for about 6 months now and have never felt better! Dr.

I've had a great experience with both Dr. Shaft and Dr. Walker. My initial exam was very thorough and x-rays taken in the office. Dr. Walker walked me through the images as well as how what we saw related to the pain I was having. I've primarily seen Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
