From the reviews
My mom suffered a work related injury and has visited several doctors in the past, but nothing worked for her. She felt a piercing pain every time she moved her arm and could barely perform every day functions. True Healing acupuncture has helped with her recovery.
I have tried at least 10 different acupuncture places in my life and the Drs here are the best hands down. Each session lasts about an hour and is a combination of cupping, acupuncture and the electricity stimulation device thing. They also accept my Blue shield insurance so I only pay my copay, so you cant beat that.
True Healing Acupuncture is a life changer! I came in with a very severe case of sciatica nerve pain on my right leg and after listening to my injury and pain points she was able to hit all the targets with a combination of needles and cupping!
I've been going here over a month. I was in so much pain one day Friday in March I couldn't move or get up. I was on my bed crying for some relief & I needed some quick emergency. Western doctors failed to help me after years dealing with this on/off issue from work injury.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
