From the reviews

I’m a massage therapist myself, and Janice is one of the main people that I go to, because she is among the best I’ve found! I really appreciate that she uses a variety of tools and techniques, from cupping & gua sha to hot stones & deep tissue, depending on what that part of the body needs.

★★★★★ — K., Mar 2025

I love massages and my experience with Janice was especially wonderful! She's very skilled and knowledgeable and also fun to talk to. By far an all-inclusive massage experience, from cupping to heated stones to a scalp rub. I loved it!

★★★★★ — Melisa, Oct 2022

I visited Seattle for the weekend from Oregon and needed a massage to relieve tension in my shoulders, neck and back. A combination of long hours of computer work and driving my body was doing no good. I had an amazing massage experience with Janice.

★★★★★ — Michelle, Apr 2023

This was my second session with Janice, and I have signed up for a membership! She blends a lot of different massage styles and tools seamlessly, and every moment on the table is heaven.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
