Why TransMed Center is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “the lipophilic ozone (ozone is able to dissolve through the wax) to penetrate and saturate the whole brain and sinus area. They have been known to help with brain fog, ear/sinus infections, tinnitus, and vertigo. FUNNEL/CUPPING…” source →

From the reviews

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Caldwell for the past three years. We have always been pleased with the level of patient care Dr. Caldwell and her staff, Becky and Vicky, have provided us during that time. With her recent move to the TransMed Center we were not sure what to expect.

★★★★★ — Howard, Oct 2020

This is a brand new state of the art facility featuring practitioners of functional medicine. Aimed at treating the cause and not just alleviating some symptoms.

★★★★★ — Bill, Dec 2020

Dr. Caldwell is the Best. I'm so glad had a pleasure to meeting her, and her caring, wonderful staff and be under her care🙏 Since I start seeing Dr Caldwell I feel much better physically and emotionally. 🙏 I highly recommend Dr. Caldwell. She's truly an angel. Special Thank you 🙏to Dr.

★★★★★ — Nahid, Feb 2023

Dr. Caldwell is by far the most exceptional physician I have ever had the privilege of working with. She leaves no stone unturned, and diligently follows up on patient progress/lab reports.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
