From the reviews

I had a great experience with Traci, a licensed massage therapist in Charleston, WV. I was in town visiting family with an injured shoulder. After a few cold nights walking around downtown to see the lights and going to Light Up the Night at the baseball stadium.

I’ve been seeing Traci for years, and she has been incredible in helping me manage pain and support my body’s healing. She keeps a calm, clean, welcoming atmosphere, including a peaceful, burbling fish tank. Traci listens carefully and is able to release my chronic tension and discomfort.

★★★★★ — Megan, Oct 2025

From my first session I felt at home with Traci. She listens and relates almost like a friend of many years. Her massage style is smooth but firm; when more pressure is needed, she delivers. I found her strength extremely effective but when a gentle touch is desired, Traci accommodates.

When there is help then there is no excuse to allow pain to debilitate us. Here we have someone who can help not merely mask the pain, but erase the causes. If you have a mind to accomplish more and keep yourself functioning at a high level make an appointment. Allow for the healing which is offered.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
