It's my first time getting treatment from Stephanie and she is wonderful!!!! I spend all my time in front of a laptop and my friend recommended me to get acupuncture and cupping to relieve some muscle tension. I found Stephanie because she does house calls and got a combo acupuncture and cupping treatment from her.
I had an acupuncture session at home with Stephanie. She was punctual, attentive, and professional. She made acupuncture stress free and relaxing. She also checked my pulse and tongue and was able to accurately pinpoint my issues. By the way, she also offers cupping and gua sha.
Stephanie's passionate and delicate technique makes the session feel less like a medical treatment and more like pure relaxation and wellness. Her attentiveness and care made me feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend her.
I’ve been suffering from dry eyes and digestive issues. And my conditions couldn’t get resolved with the medication my doctors prescribed. So I decided to try holistic healing. I found Stephanie and I had an amazing experience with her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
