For the past 5 years, I've been fortunate to have someone like Adriana at Total Balance Health Care to treat my lower back pain and other discomforts. I wish I could assign 10++ stars to their entire team who are the utmost professionals and friendly staff that ensure you come out after your session flying in a cloud.
I absolutely love Dr. Perez. Sometimes I don’t know what I’d do without her! She is so gentle and understanding, takes as much time as needed to discuss my problems and fixes me. I feel especially grounded after a visit, sleep better, my anxiety is lowered and I don’t stress as much about the small stuff.
Dr. Perez is amazing. She truly cares for the wellbeing and comfort of her patient. She listens attentively to what her patient feels and needs, then proceeds accordingly. She always has her patient’s welfare in mind.
When starting my cancer journey the chemo i was receiving gave me neuropathy which led to see Dr.Perez and I am so GREATFULL I found her she not only gave me the sensation in hands and feet back she has help me with many other issues she is truly incredible.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
