From the reviews

I’ve been seeing the same therapist (Wesley) for about two years now, and I can’t recommend him enough! His deep tissue massage technique is excellent—always targeting the right areas with just the right amount of pressure. On top of that, he’s incredibly friendly, making every visit enjoyable with great conversation.

I went there to use a Groupon. It was so good that I scheduled a monthly massage. I've had swelling in my legs and Wesley worked my legs really good and the swelling has gone down. He has a strong hand but always checks to make sure he wasn't using too much pressure. Great place!!! Happy customer here.

Wes does an amazing job. He's always attentive to the various issues I have and it's a great deep tissue massage. He's helped me through two pinched nerves.

I recently visited Tonus Body Work for a massage and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The range of services they offer is impressive. In conclusion, my time at Tonus Body Work, enhanced by Mariam's outstanding service, was an unforgettable experience.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
