From the reviews
I started coming to Thrive Freehold in October last year for an old back injury and Vinny had me feeling better in just a few visits. I have continued to see Vinny once a week and I’ve not felt this good in a long time. In January, I sustained a pretty big injury to my shoulder.
Dr Rachelle is absolutely wonderful! She truly loves her job, cares about her patients, and takes her time to address every pain and concern you have. She is knowledgeable and is ready to make you feel better! The Thrive facility in Freehold is beautiful and the minute you walk in you are welcomed with open arms.
I’ve known AJ from when he started, he’s always surrounded himself with the best. From Vinny, Rochelle and the front desk women you will always get top notch treatment. They always dedicated to improving on their craft, I know myself and my family are in good hands when at Thrive. I could not thank them enough.
Team Thrive has cleared up every ache or pain that has come my way while training. Not only are they the most supportive in my recovery journey but they are wonderful human beings. They provide personalized care for this athlete mom and make our visits so fun for my kids. I can’t recommend them enough!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
