From the reviews

*** Stop your search this place is the best *** I have been to a few rehab places before with mixed results. I have never been to a Rehab as amazing as this. I wanted to write this review the first day of my evaluation with them. Josh was awesome and super thorough.

I highly recommend Thrive. I started therapy last week for my fractured wrist with surgery and already I have made great progress. All the thanks go to my therapists Shawn and Anthony who set me up with great exercises to do at home and the ones they have me do at the clinic.

Thrive is the best! I used to think the last place I went was nice, but the people at Thrive were worth the switch. Mario is a fantastic owner and greeted me in the waiting room on my first visit. Since then, he is always checking on me and making sure I am improving and happy.

Our doctors sent my husband Randy and I to physical therapy and we weren't looking forward to it. I picked Thrive because it was close to home. It turn out we really enjoyed it. The therapists Shawn, Sophia, Matt, and Anthony were professional and fun to work with.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
