From the reviews

I’ve been seeing Katy for deep tissue and myofascial release massages over the last few months and am SO glad I found her! I’ve gotten many massages over the years, and Katy is BEST massage therapist I’ve ever had.

I started going to Thrive when my regular massage therapist went back to grad school and recommended it as the place they got massages. It's great! The therapists have different training and different specialties, so I recommend looking at their profiles, choosing what you think would work best for you, and then…

Aric gave me the best massage I have ever experienced this afternoon. I can't remember a time my neck and shoulders felt this relaxed and pain free - which was accomplished in my first massage. Usually I leave a massage feeling more sore then when I entered, with hopefully some relief after a few days.

Jamaal gave me the best massage of my life today! They were able to fit me in with very little notice too 🫶🏻 so grateful. I came in barely able to move my neck and left feeling better than I have in several months. His pressure was firm, he had an amazing flow & his understanding of anatomy was obviously very strong.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
