From the reviews
April has saved me from myself!! She takes her time and really knows her stuff!! She is also a physical therapist, so has helped me beyond the myofascial release. She gives me homework, which is so important to follow. I am not in pain on a daily basis anymore!
April at Three Rivers Bodywork is friendly and super knowledgeable. April’s Myofascial release work for neck and headache/migraine pain has been a savior. If you’re in pain, go see April immediately!
A customer for life!!!! April does a wonderful job of just the right pressure on your muscles and really being able to get into your tissue to massage and help press out the knots. I have a patella tendon injury and she has done an amazing job. I am so grateful that I found a really good therapist.
April is amazing! She really really cares about you. She found things about my lower back that was missed by other medical professionals. Her prices are reasonable. I will continue my business with her. Super sweet and humble lady who takes her time. She is working hard for patients to make an honest living.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
