Rigby is very professional and one of the best massage therapist I have been to. The massage experience he gives is exceptional. When I get a massage I like to be quiet, unplug, relax and pray for the healing and meditative peace that Jesus gives so freely.
Rigby is seriously an AMAZING massage therapist! He not only squeezed me in during my lunch break, but he helped take away the pain in my shoulder that had me nearly in tears. Definitely plan to make his massages a part of my routine healthcare/maintenance routine! Highly recommend him for relaxation or pain relief.
You can tell that Rigby has been doing this for several years, and his extensive education and experience. I have been dealing with a bit of pain and this massage was incredibly helpful. I really appreciate the assessment and his explanation of approach and plan. Definitely recommend him if you need to heal.
Visiting town and feeling a bit tense. Contacted Rigby and he was able to accommodate me last minute for an hour at 8 am the next day. Rigby asked me about my areas of concern, we had a quick chat and I got ready for my session. In the past I’ve always thought the harder the massage the better I’d feel.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
