From the reviews
I started coming to The Zaniya Center early of 2023 and I’ve been religiously getting Massages with Cupping monthly ever since. Carla is absolutely fantastic and takes care of any needs or concerns you may have. She makes it the most relaxing and comfortable experience ever.
Samantha & I decided the 60 min massage would be the best place to start to help my sciatic nerve pain that shot down my leg from my hips/lower back. She was patient and kind during our consult. The room was cozy and warm. The massage was fabulous! She was attentive to my preferences.
I quit getting massages 15 years ago because my massage therapist moved and I couldn’t find anyone that could reach the places where I needed help. I was in a debilitating accident 5years ago and go to a chiropractor weekly, but my muscles needed help. I decided to try the Zaniya Center and am I glad I did!
I HIGHLY recommend Grace! She is so great! She tailors each massage to my concerns and I always feel so much better after my appointments! Great for relaxing and/or working out tight muscles! I’ve done a lot of “masseuse shopping” and Grace is literally the best!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
