From the reviews
I saw Marissa yesterday for a 90 minute massage. I have never felt more relaxed during a massage. I loved every single minute. Marissa was so attentive, listened to where I was wanting extra work done in my shoulders, and delivered. I felt so taken care of. Literally the best massage I’ve ever had.
Marissa is an absolute ray of sunshine and welcomes you with warmth as soon as you step in the door! She takes time to listen to the areas to focus on and makes sure she is addressing them. She is someone you can tell genuinely loves the work she does and has joy when she’s able to relieve pain / maximize relaxation.
A Awesome experience that totally aligned my senses to receive through my Body, Mind, & Spirit as I allowed. Marissa is a very gifted intuitive massage therapist that can assist you in many levels of healing as you allow your senses to carry you.
Amazing services! Marissa made me feel very comfortable and was able to answer many of the questions I had before our appointment. The environment was peaceful. I felt very relaxed with her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
