From the reviews

Dr Fedro is an amazing acupuncturist and a warm hearted human. She treats me for oncology, immune issues and muscle/joint pain. Her treatments are thoughtful and creative (she's great with cupping and moxibustion!) I always feel better when I leave her office! I highly recommend her!

Went for tension and shoulder pain. Felt some release of tension after the session then my should pain gone the next day. Thoroughly impressed and will continue to go for acupuncture and cupping. Cupping was like a massage and soooo relaxing!

Great first visit today. Ali was very thorough going thru my health history and addressing my concerns. I received acupuncture and cupping. Looking forward to regular visits!!

I just had my third appointment with Dr. Alex. The absolutely annoying ‘bubble’ feeling in my ear is gone after 12 years of it bothering me. I have more energy and am sleeping and eliminating better. We even started to treat and eliminate a 35 year old acne scar! Plus, who knew acupuncture can relieve hemorrhoids!!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
