No one does it better than Elita!! I have been going to her since I was pregnant with my now 3 yr old. She helped me tremendously through pregnancy back pain, then shooting wrist pain from pumping/nursing and now neck/shoulder/everywhere else tension.
The South Windsor location is quaint and soothing, from the second you step in the door. I have known Elita for years and she goes above and beyond regarding scheduling/rescheduling appointments, checking in with you after visits, and targeting any part of your body that needs relief, during the session.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Elita and The Therapeutic Spot. From the moment you walk in, the environment is calm, clean, and welcoming. She is not only incredibly skilled but also warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Her massages are beyond amazing, they've truly changed my quality of life.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
