From the reviews
This was my first visit to the spa. Upon entering, the soothing aroma and calm atmosphere were immediately inviting. However, the receptionist with blonde braids was not very friendly; her welcome felt rather perfunctory, especially for a first-time visitor.
Last summer I became a promise member and I haven’t looked back. As a commitment to my wellness and relaxation it is the best decision I’ve made! It is cozy and what sets this place apart from others (spas with more amenities) is the staff.
I appreciate the atmosphere they had created. The waiting area was both relaxing and cozy. The staff were welcoming and everyone had great customer service. There were snacks and tea available while you wait, you get to change into slippers which they provided, and the facilities were very clean.
Booked a last minute signature massage - INCREDIBLE! My therapist, Enat, was wonderful. The whole experience is great from check in to treatment - very soothing, love the tea and fruit water. Building is a lovely house with state of the art rooms. My only regret is that I didn’t book a longer massage!! Next time…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
