From the reviews
I started seeing Jordan at The Point about 7years ago and it has been a life changing experience. Jordan is very professional, listens and very attentive to your plan of care. My favorite part of each treatment is cupping! 10/10 recommend for everyone!
Jordan Burk is a masterful acupuncturist! I recently visited Jordan at The Point Acupuncture after hearing great things from his clients. From the moment I entered, the warm and inviting atmosphere put me at ease. The staff was friendly and professional, making the check-in process smooth.
The healing of an ailment can be approached from a level that not only addresses the specific concern but at the same time can help bring the entire body back into a wholeness in functionality... This is exactly what Jordan and this clinic bring to the table.
I’ve been seeing Jordan at The Point Acupuncture for several years, and I can confidently say he is an exceptional healer. His approach is gentle, intuitive, and deeply effective. Jordan doesn’t just offer acupuncture—he thoughtfully integrates other healing modalities to support whole-body wellness.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
