I came here for the first time October 11, deep tissue 50 minutes with Spencer. This was my first time and typically get massages 3-4 times a year and haven't had one in a year since my masseuse moved on from Du Bunne Spa, Torrance. I ran into this place from being a frequent client at the business next door, Deka.
Could not recommend this enough! The space is brand new and tastefully decorated. I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff for my appointment, and was promptly moved to my massage room. I opted for the NOW Massage with the Deep Tissue enhancement and it was amazing.
I had to reschedule my appointment at my usual The NOW Massage location and was really hoping to get in somewhere quickly. Thankfully, I was able to book with Lehmont, and I’m so glad I did!
I have received massages from both Yancy and Lahmont at this location. They are both amazing! Healing hands. I feel 1000x better after seeing them. I would highly recommend the hem 10/10. You will be in absolutely wonderful hands.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
