I REALLY liked the ambiance. Service is performed in a big dimly lit room sectioned off with curtains. Wave sounds are very loud but I really preferred it to the typical "relaxing" spa music and it covered up noise from other people. Too loud to really talk so no conversation in the treatment area.
They are top tier when it comes to customer service. This massage with Ana was to rectify a not so pleasant previous experience with a different masseuse. I appreciate them so much for even extending the courtesy after reading my feedback. I really enjoy the ambience and design of the massage boutique.
I adore this place! I've had a membership for the last three months and I've seen Chang every single time. I've had massages all over the country and he is hands down the best of all time. The business is extremely clean, customer service is always wonderful, and the setting is super relaxing.
This was my first time at this location. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. My massage was incredible. Maria did such a wonderful job. My mother in law said her massage with Chang was the most thorough massage she ever had. I will definitely will be back when we are visiting family in Nashville again.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
