From the reviews

Came for my first time here this week and loved it. I got the 50 minute massage and added on cupping. Manny was the best! I didn’t even tell him I was having shoulder problems, but he found knots and worked them all out and gave me tips on how to prevent them in the future.

★★★★★ — Julianne, Nov 2025

One thing I really like about The Now is that they have a variety of therapists, & they help match you with someone who fits your specific needs. With surgery coming up in a few days, I was looking for something similar to lymphatic drainage massage and promote circulation.

★★★★★ — Heather, Jul 2026

Athena was attentive to the spots on my body that needed the extra attention due to stress. She took into consideration everything I mentioned before the massage and ensured I was comfortable with any practices she incorporates into her massage. The massage itself was incredible!

★★★★★ — Cynthia, Jul 2025

Honestly the most amazing massage I have had in a very long time. I love all the therapists I hv had but Ricardo is next level AH-MAZE-ZING!! I am so grateful that I was on his table tonight. Could not have asked for a better experience. I hv traveled all over the world.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
