I’m a 6’2" athletic guy who’s been to countless massage places across the state, desperately searching for someone who could provide a truly effective repair massage. Over the years, I’ve had several therapists step on my back with the use of the poles, but it was always just surface-level pressure with no real relief.
I went to see Mr.Brian Walter because I couldn’t walk my heels were very swollen and I had pain in my waist and shoulders. I was barely walking with a cane. The orthopedics that’s I saw before recommended me surgery although I did not want to go down that route. Mr.Brian gave me sciatic treatment.
I entered the miracle of massage facility in so much pain it was unbearable. I met Brian, we had a discussion about my pain level and how long I had been suffering, and then he got to work on me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
