From the reviews

My husband and I recently enjoyed a delightful visit to Kneaded Thread, where we both received exceptional massages from Doug and Carlos! I cannot emphasize enough how transformative my experience with Carlos was; he delivered what can only be described as the best massage I have ever had.

★★★★★ — Abbey, Mar 2025

I just got done having a massage by Carlos. I have never felt more relaxed. This says a lot because I don’t relax easily. I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to be touched. He made me feel comfortable and I could actually enjoy the massage.

★★★★★ — Emma, Sep 2023

I have been getting massages in the area for many years and have repeatedly been let down. I FINALLY found somewhere that checks all my boxes! Clean, professional, kind and knowledgeable staff, and close to home. Most importantly I found Jamie!

★★★★★ — Kelly, May 2026

If you are looking for an amazing experience, go see Casey at the Kneaded touch. I’ve been to her multiple times – and she is always great – but today was exceptional… So incredibly relaxing. Very very professional and a wonderful environment and welcoming staff.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
