I’ve been seeing Dr. Pavelko at The Hetrick Center for several years now and have consistently had a great experience. Scheduling appointments is always easy, and the front office staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Dr.
I had a total knee replacement, and recovery did not go well for me at first. I’m stubborn, strong-willed, and my whole body went into emergency “DO NOT TOUCH” mode. I truly believe that if I had gone anywhere else for physical therapy, I would not be as far along as I am today.
I had such a positive experience with Dr. Emily. She’s incredibly personable and knowledgeable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. She took the time to listen and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The office staff was just as great.
Dr Davline is amazing! She listens thoughtfully & respectfully to what I have to say as the patient, and she is thoroughly knowledgeable and friendly. I’m very thankful that she is my chiropractor. I went in there quite a few times in serious pain and she immediately knew what was wrong and corrected the issue.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
