I really enjoyed my message and within ten minutes into it I fell asleep. I'm very cautious and would never sleep in public mind you. I had the special that's going on in June and really enjoyed it. I plan to go back. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The rates on the services were fair. I plan to go back.
The best staff around. Very knowledgeable people. Especially the physical therapy staff. I thought my recovery would take much longer than the pace we are currently on. I was told by a friend in Raleigh to go here for my physical therapy. My surgeon is really impressed as to how quickly they got me up and running.
Daniel is the best! I highly recommend seeing him. He used a great amount of pressure and really listened to what felt good. He also kept me comfortable the entire time.
After getting massages from around the world for over 10 years, I can truly say that my experience was great. The day spa staff are kind, the atmosphere of the private room was relaxing, and Nicole did a great job with the 60 minute deep tissue massage.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
