From the reviews

I just got finished with my 1st cupping experience and it was out of this world! Lindsay is amazing! She was extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I feel phenomenal even just 10 minutes after my appointment. Additionally her studio was immaculate!!

Lindsay is the best LMT out there. She really takes the time to hear any issues you may be having and help with them. I recently tried cupping, but was nervous, and she explained the whole process to me so I knew what was going on. She is very knowledgeable about her craft. I cannot recommend her enough.

★★★★★ — Sara, Apr 2020

I have been going weekly for stretch and massage therapy at The Body Co for close to two years. Lindsay is not only an amazing person, she has improved my flexibility & made a change in my posture. She really listens and tries to incorporate stretches that pinpoint and target the areas needed for improvement.

★★★★★ — Renee, Jun 2021

So to be honest.... I used to go other places and would get massages as often as 3 times a week. As soon as I started with this place, I Dom t have to go as often, I feel amazing, real stretching, deep massages, and perfect environment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
