Roxy is a sweetheart. She felt like family and I’ve never felt more seen/heard than I did with her. She accommodated me in more ways than one. I’ve been getting massages up to 2x a week for about a year and I can honestly say I got more pain relief in one session than I have in months of consistent sessions.

i received a gift certificate from a friend so i thought what the heck. i have bad shoulders and was thinking i was just days away from scheduling surgery. but Ms Roxy got in there and worked her magic. i admit i was really sore for a couple days but after that my shoulders feel so much better! I will be going back!

Roxanne does an awesome job on doing deeper tissue massage to find all those trouble spots that can be debilitating. Just found out about her new practice and have been there 4 times with tremendous results from sciatica. Wished I had a therapist like here where I live most of the year!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
