From the reviews
I got the 1hr deep tissue massage with the add on of cupping and it was 100% worth every penny. I’m a full time college student, competitive athlete, and work two jobs…so I went in with insane neck and upper back pain.
Thai Moon Spa does not disappoint. My therapist, Sophia, was top-notch and is one of the best Thai therapists I’ve ever received a massage from. A Thai native who has been in the U.S. for less than three years, Sophia’s expertise was immediately evident the moment she worked on my knots.
Good clean environment and great customer service. Best to make an appointment due to high demand/requests from clients. Weekends are busy. Ambience and mood is relaxing. Tip the masseuse based on their performance and time, don't think that the fees for facility is part of the tip.
I am honestly blown away and not inflating it. My husband and I tried at least 20 different massage places in Orange County, from new ones to more established ones and I can truly say this is the best massage we gotten in a long time. I had LomiLomi with Kate.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
