From the reviews

I'm a clinical herbalist living with lupus and a rare genetic malabsorption disorder. When I reached the end of the care I could provide for myself, I went to see Fredda. At the time, I was walking with a cane. I was struggling to make it through a day while coping with joint pain, fatigue, and digestive issues.

I came to Ten Stones with three main issues, one that I had for over a year, an incessant itching. Freddie spent more time with me than I ever expected at each visit. She listened carefully and commented on things I had forgotten I had told her.

★★★★★ — Tracy, Jul 2024

Freddie is a very gifted and intuitive healer. She has incredible skills as an acupuncturist and herbalist. Her touch itself is very healing. She is very devoted to helping her patients heal their deepest wounds and live their best life. I highly recommned experiencing her amazing work.

★★★★★ — Brooke, Apr 2019

Freddie is amazing!!! She helped me to get relief from hot flashes last year, and this year she is helping me recover from an auto immune situation. I'm feeling so energetic and enthusiastic - taking classes, painting again, etc. Even meeting Freddie by Zoom was effective. Very cool.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
