My daughter had mention to me for a long time about acupuncture treatment. But, I was a little afraid of needles. At the beginning of last year, around March, April and May, I have been suffering a lot from migraine headaches and Tinnitus.
I have suffered from anxiety my whole life, and I have never been able to control it.Five years ago I had the honor of meeting Dr. Tang and since then he has forever changed my life for the better. I have been treating with him once a week for the past five years.
I visited Dr Tang's office at the beginning of last year 2018, because I had been suffering from neuropathy for a long time and lately the pain in the legs was worse. Even thou the diabetes was under control and the readings were under normal levels, I had strong leg pain.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Tang for a month now for my Hashimoto hypothyroidism disease and when I went there I was in a lot of pain and he discovered I have a fatty liver. Him and his assistant Alex have been so kind and helpful. The personal attention has been amazing. I am truly happy that I found them.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
