From the reviews
My chiropractor referred me to Alena for a medical massage to complement my adjustments. My first session with her was excellent; she is very perceptive and provided excellent detailed body work through massage and cupping to figure out the source of my pain.
Alena from Synergy Massage did a fantastic job on my shoulder. I’m in prep for a physique competition so am body building and was encountering some discomfort. After 2 sessions of acupuncture, medical massage & glide cupping I’m feeling a lot better. I will definitely come back!
I had such a wonderful experience at Synergy Massage. From the moment I walked in, the environment was calming and very welcoming. My therapist was incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable.
Alena with Synergy Massage is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever encountered. I’ve had both the Medical Massage and the Relax and Rejuvenation Massage, and every experience has been incredible. I originally started seeing Alena for shoulder and neck pain, and she quickly identified the root cause.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
