My wife was in so much pain after her knee replacement and 3 surgeries in one day and no doctor could help her. She was diagnosed with permanent nerve pain in her knee after the surgeries a year later. It was suggested to try acupuncture and so glad we did.
I am very excited to leave a review for superior traditional acupuncture with Susanna. I began acupuncture over a month ago to help with hot flashes, bloating, shoulder, and neck, pain, and overall health. In that time, my digestion is smoother, and my bloating has gone away. Also, my neck and shoulder pain is gone.
Susanna Yeung is a great acupuncturist. I have been having back and right hip problems for over 2 years. After having epidural shots for a pinched nerve in my back, and PT, I was still in a lot of pain. A friend of mine told me about Susanna and the great results she was getting. What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
