First I'd like to say that I have had therapy at other places that I had been referred too, however none have been like Suncare. Once you walk in you see a small location and I was like here we go again this place wont work for me but let me tell you I ended up putting my foot in mt mouth.
My mother Miriam has been going Suncare Therapy for the past months and they have been super helpful from the moment we walked in. Mom was suffering with severe swelling in her arm from Lymphedema and in just a few sessions the swelling and pain had diminished. Super thankful for how they have treated my mother.
This is an excellent place to receive physical therapy. All of the therapists at the place are excepcional at what they do. I have been treated for my back problems and many other issues, and left their office without anymore pain.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
