Such an improvement over the previous business. I have been there twice under new ownership. Very nice. The first time, my husband and I had the basic foot massage, which was great, but today I added 20 minute back massage because my back and shoulders were so full of knots.
I just went in there and it was the best massage ever! It’s a full body and only $45 for an hour! I have had many massages before at much higher rates and this was so much more enjoyable. Just note it is in an open space, which is relaxing, and you remain fully clothed. Totally recommended if you have time!
I have had massage for over 30 yrs and think Sun Foot Spa staff are so well trained in their craft of deep tissue massage. The price is amazing, too. I used to be a member of Massage Envy and definitely believe that if you are ok with the open room concept, you should try this wonderful family-owned business!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
