From the reviews
I think you need a referral or at least I got referred to go to here and I had a great experience. All of the staff are personable and great to work with! I felt like I was listened too and given help that was catered to me and my issues, not just some generalized solution.
Every place in physical therapy has failures. But very few have the marked successes that Rory Fletcher has given to his patients. The unique thing about Rory is he works as close to the fundamental as possible. What is the root cause? I cannot recommend him more highly.
I see both acupuncture and massage therapists, and if not for them, I would probably not be able to work -- certainly not as well. They keep chronic pain at bay with their skills, and their kind ways and words. The office staff is great, too -- friendly and efficient.
Massage with Anja was great, very relaxing and comfortable environment. Wish I lived closer so I could come in more often.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
